The Blizzard Zero G LT 80 W Alpine Touring Ski is a lightweight ski designed to take on the biggest missions in the mountains. At the heart of the LT 80 is the TrueBlend Tour Woodcore, which uses primarily Paulownia but has Poplar reinforcement throughout. To add stiffness and stability where you need it most, the Poplar is concentrated underfoot and through the tail. A unidirectional carbon fiber chassis reinforces the wood core and adds additional rigidity. The wood and carbon combine to create a flex pattern that remains stiff underfoot and softer through the tips and tails. The result is downhill performance for demanding lines while still keeping the ski forgiving and easy to ski– a critical trait for big exposure and no fall zones.
