Introducing PBF, a highly palatable gecko food that is rich in protein and fat, and perfect for breeding season. The primary sources of protein and fat are crickets and black soldier fly larvae, while the combination of bananas and apricots makes it a tasty meal for most geckos. PBF contains maximum levels of calcium to support healthy bone growth, and additional plain calcium can be added to the food or offered separately for females that need it.

For best results, offer fresh food at least every other day during the breeding season, and smaller, more frequent feedings are recommended. PBF can be fed to geckos of all life stages, and live dusted insects can be offered once or twice a week to provide variety and stimulate activity.

To prepare PBF, mix 2.5 parts water to 1 part powder, as it is a thicker consistency. It's important to note that geckos may not clean their bowl entirely due to the higher fat content, but that's not a concern. PBF has shown great promise as a growth formula, although it was developed and tested primarily as a breeder formula.

Ingredients in PBF include dried banana, dried apricot, insect meal, whey protein isolate, micellar casein, tricalcium phosphate, vegetable oil, ground flaxseed, xanthan gum, calcium carbonate, algae meal, sodium chloride, natural guava flavor, mixed tocopherols, choline chloride, ferrous fumarate, potassium sorbate, beta carotene, inositol, niacin, kelp meal, ascorbic acid, cholecalciferol (D3), potassium chloride, riboflavin, thiamine mononitrate, vitamin A, pyridoxine hydrochloride, biotin, folic acid, sulfur, zinc oxide, and vitamin B12.

The guaranteed analysis shows that PBF contains a minimum of 21% crude protein, 5.7% crude fat, and a maximum of 8% crude fiber, 9% moisture, and 8% ash.
