The Wilmot soil probe was designed by professional cemetery workers, but it has many other applications. Works great for making pilot holes for real estate signs, yard signs, tomato stakes, or anything you need to stick in hard ground. Uses a 1/2" or larger chuck-size battery operated hammer drill to probe vaults under frozen ground and hard packed or dry ground with ease. Also very useful for making pilot holes for tomato stakes, marker poles, tree stakes, etc. Finds cemetery vaults in hard or frozen soil effortlessly and fast! Also makes probing "normal" soil super easy - just hold the trigger on the hammer drill and down it goes.
